New Honda Pilot: 2023 Redesign Updates & Changes

The 2023 Honda Pilot redesign sees this SUV reimagined from top to bottom. Like the recently redesigned CR-V and Civic, the latest Pilot features a sharper, straighter, boxier design with lines that appear to pull the vehicle forward.

Although this model has the same 3.5L V6 engine that was offered in the 2022 model, the following updates will ensure an all-new driving experience:

  • A 10-speed automatic transmission replaces the outgoing 9-speed setup.
  • An all-new version of the TrailSport trim has more trail-crawling ability than ever before. It includes skid plates, a one-inch suspension lift, all-terrain tires, and more.
  • The Pilot still seats up to eight, or seven with optional second-row captain’s chairs. However, the amount of space in its cabin has grown significantly.
  • Additionally, 2023 Pilot owners will enjoy best-in-class cargo space: up to 22 cubic feet behind the third row, or up to 113.7 cubic feet with all of the rear seats flat.
